A rebated door pair has a naturally embedded lip where the 2 doors meet called a rebated meeting stile, appearing more flush and solid than using a door pair maker. The embedded lip on the doors is similar to 2 connecting L shapes that create a master door and a slave. This allows the master to open outwards and close freely without any interaction with the slave door and also restricting the slave door until the master door has already opened. Please note when opening inward the right-hand door pushes first.
Most of our rebated door pairs are available in 2 sizes (610mm / 24" each door or 686mm / 27" each door) and are designed to fit in an opening of 1208mm or 1360mm.
