Plug Plants - Lavender angustifolia Rosea "Pink Perfume", Winter Hardy.

A highly scented Pink compact variety of Lavender, with rosy pink flowers in July to September.  Plants have grey green leaves and grow to a height of 30-50cm.  These are very adaptable plants, looking good in containers, borders and alongside paths.  They will attract pollinating insects, and makes good dried flowers.

Lavender ‘Pink Perfume’ grows best in a warm sunny spot and in well-drained soil.  They are drought tolerant once established and easy to look after.

Lavender Hidcote is very easy to grow from plug plants, and is usually winter hardy, which means you don't need to grow from scratch every year.

Dwarf variety with deep purple-blue flowers. Height around 40cm.

The flower-spikes are highly attractive to bees and other nectar-loving insects. Works well, as a low hedge along a path, direct planted in the border in groups of 3 - 5 - 7 etc. And always works in a container !

Garden Care:

Cut back the stalks after the flowers have faded. Carefully trim back in April, taking care not to cut into old wood. Remember... this is the hardy lavender version, some versions of lavender are not hardy !
